Not long ago, Glass Industry was driven by a single person managing every detail – from measurements and production to transportation, installation and even accounting. That hands-on beginning has quickly evolved into a professional, growing team capable of delivering multiple projects at once, without compromising on speed or quality.

While demand for modern, high-quality glass solutions is steadily increasing, access to diverse, innovative products has remained limited. Glass Industry is working to change that by introducing mechanisms and designs already common internationally, but still new to local customers.

This combination of practical experience, forward-thinking vision and customer-focused execution has positioned the company as a rising name in the industry, an achievement further recognized by its recent win at the Golden Brand awards.

We present an interview with Tsotne Tevzadze, Founder of Glass Industry, who speaks about the company’s journey and its commitment to creating modern, high-quality products that enhance both functionality and interior design.

Q. Glass Industry was founded quite recently. What was your core vision from the beginning?

A. From day one, our goal was very clear – to offer a service that goes beyond standard expectations. We wanted to create a complete experience where premium-quality products are combined with responsibility, official warranties and flexible payment options. For us, it was never just about selling a product, but about delivering a reliable and comfortable service that customers can fully trust.

Q. What kind of products and solutions do you offer to the Georgian market?

A. We provide a wide range of products made from tempered glass processed at 695°C, known for its durability and design flexibility. Our portfolio includes fully customized shower cabins, glass railings for stairs and balconies, room dividers, bathroom partitions, mirrors with various shapes and lighting options and glass shelves. Every product is tailored to the client’s specific needs in terms of size and design.

Q. You have introduced laminated glass (Lamex) to a wider audience in Georgia. Why is it so important?

A. Laminated glass is 100 percent safe, which makes it a key product in our offering. Even when damaged, it does not break into dangerous pieces. In contrast, standard tempered glass can still cause minor injuries, while non-tempered glass can lead to serious harm. Thanks to our active communication, this product has become much more popular in the Georgian market and we are proud to have played a leading role in that shift.

Q. What does “local production” mean for your company in practical terms?

A: For us, local production means full control over the entire process – from importing raw glass to delivering the final product. This includes tempering, processing, cutting, drilling, laminated glass production and final assembly. This approach allows us to ensure high quality, meet deadlines efficiently and provide precise, reliable service to our customers.

Q. What sets Glass Industry apart from competitors?

A. Our competitive advantage lies in the combination of several key factors: premium-quality materials, professional installation by an experienced team, official warranties on every product and flexible, customer-oriented payment terms. It is this complete package that encourages customers not only to choose us once, but to return again.

Q. The early stage of any business is often the hardest. What was your biggest challenge?

A. The beginning was definitely the most challenging period. At one point, I was essentially a one-man team – handling measurements, production, transportation, installation, accounting and overall management. Today, we have a strong and professional team, which allows us to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver fast, high-quality service.

Q. How do you maintain such high levels of customer satisfaction?

A. We can confidently say that we have almost no dissatisfied customers. This comes from being personally involved in every project, both in communication and execution. Even after completing a project, we stay in touch with clients to understand their real-life experience. This constant feedback helps us maintain high standards, which is also reflected in our social media reviews.

Q. How would you describe your approach to quality and design?

A. For us, quality is non-negotiable. Even though design diversity in the Georgian market is still somewhat limited, we have chosen from the very beginning to work exclusively with premium materials and avoid offering low-quality alternatives. Our goal is to deliver results that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and safe.

Q. What does this level of recognition mean for your team?

A. Honestly, our success was not a surprise to us. We always knew we were offering something different in terms of quality and service. Still, every achievement is a great motivation for our team. Positive customer feedback and a high volume of orders clearly confirm that we are on the right path. This kind of recognition strengthens our brand image and gives us even more energy to grow.

Q. What are your future plans?

A. Our goal is to introduce innovative products and mechanisms to the Georgian market that are already widely used internationally but not yet available locally. The demand definitely exists. Customers simply do not always have access to diverse options. We want to change that by offering modern, unique solutions that enhance both functionality and interior aesthetics.
